CPA Licensed Onboarding Accountant

Job Summary

Guiding nonprofit clients through the onboarding process, the full-time remote Onboarding Senior Accountant will review financial records, resolve discrepancies, and prepare reconciliations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new nonprofit clients by reviewing financial records and ensuring proper transaction recording
• Provide full-cycle accounting support, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activity
• Prepare month-end close workbooks, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly financial statements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
• CPA license preferred
• Minimum of five years of general accounting experience
• Experience in audit preparation
• Public or outsourced accounting experience preferred
