CPA Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting and reporting activities in a fast-growing public biotech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley activities, including system documentation updates and control testing
• Support the implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures, and assist with audit requests

Required Qualifications

• CPA or CMA license preferred
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent
• At least 5 years of related experience, with 1-2 years in the biotechnology or life science industry
• Working knowledge of all aspects of accounting and financial reporting
• Experience in a fast-paced, small company environment
