CPA Licensed Senior Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Accounting & Reporting to join their Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Accounting and Reporting Team through quarterly and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting matters by collaborating with other departments and overseeing SEC and statutory reporting
• Maintain internal controls, liaise with external auditors, and support team members in their professional development

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience in accounting or reporting and/or public accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
• Certified Public Accountant licensure (CPA)
• SEC Reporting experience
• 2+ years of experience with US-based insurance companies
