CPA Licensed SOX Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed SOX Manager will manage the execution and continuous improvement of the company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, ensuring robust internal controls and collaborating with business stakeholders in a remote-eligible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the annual SOX compliance lifecycle, including risk assessment, documentation, testing coordination, and deficiency remediation
• Act as the primary liaison for SOX-related matters between management, control owners, and auditors to ensure an efficient audit process
• Drive process optimization by identifying opportunities for streamlining operations and enhancing automated controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting, focusing on SOX 404 audits and internal controls
• Active CPA or CIA certification is strongly preferred; CISA is a plus
• Deep understanding of SOX Section 404 requirements and the COSO framework
• Experience with major ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is highly desirable
