CPA Licensed Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Tax to oversee all aspects of tax planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tax strategies to maximize tax losses and align with business objectives
• Provide leadership to the tax team and oversee all tax-related activities
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• CPA, CFA, MBT, or JD in Tax required
• 8+ years of experience in real estate tax compliance
• Solid experience in Subchapter K of the Internal Revenue Code
• Proven expertise in UPREIT taxation and real estate partnership taxation
