CPA Licensed VP of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Accounting, responsible for managing accounting systems and ensuring compliance with GAAP policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with financial transaction recording standards and performs control/reconciliation of accounts
• Prepares accounting reports for internal and external audiences, including financial statements and budget reporting
• Develops and enforces accounting policies in accordance with GAAP and participates in annual audits and special projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's degree preferred
• CPA preferred
• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong collaboration and business acumen
• Experience in hiring, coaching, and performance management
