CPA Licensed VP of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Accounting/Controllership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve the financial close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Lead technical accounting and revenue recognition, particularly under ASC 606
• Manage external audits and maintain internal controls for financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• CPA required (U.S. or Canadian)
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior roles in multinational settings
• Hands-on experience with software and SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments
• Proven ability to scale accounting processes and teams with business growth
