CPA Licensed VP of Accounting Policy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Investments Accounting Policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical research on complex investment transaction structures under U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting
• Collaborate with the investment office on complex transactions and ensure adherence to accounting policies
• Monitor and document developments from regulatory bodies that may impact accounting policies and practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and internationally recognized accounting designation (CPA or CA) required
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in investments and public accounting
• Demonstrable experience with accounting for complex investment asset classes
• Ability to keep abreast of developments in U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting guidance
• Strong research and analytical skills
