Job Summary
As a full-time M&A and Accounting Policy Manager, the successful candidate will manage the full M&A and investment transaction lifecycle, including financial due diligence, purchase accounting, and accounting policy maintenance, while working remotely with occasional in-person sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial due diligence on target companies, assessing quality of earnings and identifying accounting risks
- Own end-to-end purchase accounting for acquisitions under ASC 805, including purchase price allocation and goodwill calculation
- Maintain and update accounting policies and prepare technical accounting memos for new products and transactions
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience; CPA required
- Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, including M&A accounting (ASC 805) and investment accounting (ASC 321, ASC 323)
- Proven experience leading financial due diligence and managing external consultants across M&A workstreams
- Ability to draft technical accounting memos and financial statement disclosures for cross-functional stakeholders
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
