CPA Manager of GAAP Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, GAAP Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Participate in projects focused on automation, system implementation, and best practices
• Manage year-end financial statement audits and oversee accounting staff performance

Required Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including 2-3 years at a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm
• A minimum of 2 years of people management experience
• Active CPA or currently pursuing certification is strongly preferred
• Solid proficiency in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting knowledge
