CPA Principal Director of Finance

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and experienced Principal Director of Finance Shared Services, the full-time role will oversee the accounting team, manage the monthly close process, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, with a hybrid work model based in Denver.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities while driving optimization through automation
• Assist in the preparation and review of GAAP-compliant financial statements and support external audits
• Collaborate with FP&A, treasury, and senior leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives, including M&A

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services or tech industries
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex close processes
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
