CPA Principal Director of Finance

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and experienced CPA Principal Director of Finance in a full-time hybrid role, who will manage the accounting team, oversee the monthly close process, support financial reporting and audits, and drive process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities while optimizing through automation
• Assist in the preparation and review of GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reporting
• Support external audits and enhance operational policies and internal control frameworks for SOX compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services or tech industries
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex close processes
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
