CPA Principal Director of Finance

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic Principal Director of Finance Shared Services, the full-time role will manage the accounting team, oversee monthly close processes, support financial reporting and audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, with a hybrid work model available in Denver and other locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities while driving optimization through automation
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and support external audits
• Collaborate with FP&A, treasury, and senior leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives, including M&A

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services or tech industries
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex close processes
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
