CPA Revenue Accounting Director

Job Summary

Leading the revenue intelligence engine for a scaling SaaS business, the full-time remote CPA Revenue Accounting Director will oversee ASC 606 compliance, drive process efficiency across the quote-to-cash cycle, and provide strategic advisory to senior leadership on complex deal structures.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority on ASC 606, guiding revenue recognition for complex SaaS arrangements and authoring technical accounting memos
• Design and implement standardized revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure audit readiness across financial cycles
• Build and maintain a revenue analytics capability to deliver actionable insights to executive leadership and support data-driven decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant revenue accounting leadership in a SaaS or technology company
• Deep technical expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS revenue models, with experience in authoring technical memos
• Proven track record of building and developing high-performing accounting teams
• Strong operational mindset with experience in process standardization and managing external audits
