CPA Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Revenue Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly revenue close process and prepare journal entries for various revenue types under ASC 606
• Review and interpret non-standard customer contracts and assess revenue impact in collaboration with Legal and Contract Operations
• Drive continuous improvement in revenue accounting processes and support external audit procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in revenue accounting within a SaaS or technology company
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to complex SaaS arrangements
• Proficiency with NetSuite or comparable ERP, and experience with billing platforms like Zuora or Salesforce CPQ preferred
• Experience in public accounting within the technology/software sector is preferred
