CPA Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Sr. Revenue Accountants, the full-time Manager, Revenue Accounting will oversee the revenue month-end close process, ensure compliance with ASC 606, and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams while working remotely from the United States.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze complex contracts for appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
• Oversee daily operational revenue transactions and prepare monthly financial statements for internal review
• Develop and maintain internal controls while partnering with Sales and Legal teams to assess revenue recognition impacts on new contracts

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in operational accounting within a high-growth environment
• 4+ years of leadership experience and a background in Big 4 audit and startup environments
• CPA certification with a strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce, particularly in revenue recognition processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
