CPA Revenue Operations Controller

Job Summary

Overseeing the full order-to-cash processes, the full-time remote CPA Revenue Operations Controller will manage revenue recognition, optimize financial systems, and lead a high-performing team while collaborating across departments to drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in billing and collections while optimizing ASC606-compliant revenue recognition processes
• Build and maintain systems supporting SaaS business models, leading automation initiatives to enhance data integrity and operational scalability
• Lead and mentor a team, partnering with cross-functional departments to support growth and improve contracting and collections efficiency

Required qualifications

• 8-12 years of progressive experience in revenue and accounting operations, particularly in a SaaS or technology company
• CPA or equivalent financial management qualification
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription billing and deferred revenue
• Hands-on experience with ERP and billing systems such as NetSuite and Payfac
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from large data sets
