CPA SEC Financial Reporting Manager
Job Summary
Managing technical accounting activities, the remote CPA SEC Financial Reporting Manager will prepare and analyze the Company's SEC filings, coordinate external audits, and supervise the SEC team while providing professional guidance on accounting issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, while responding to inquiries regarding financial data
- Coordinate and oversee external audits, managing communications with external auditors on financial statements and accounting issues
- Supervise, mentor, and train the SEC team while planning and organizing activities related to financial reporting
Required Qualifications
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA license
- 8-10 years of public accounting or equivalent industry experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with SEC filings
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Hyperion, HFM, or SAP is a strong plus
