CPA SEC Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing Fintech company, the full-time salaried CPA SEC Reporting Analyst will prepare SEC filings, assist in external reporting deliverables, and conduct research on U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K) including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A
• Assist in the preparation of earnings releases, investor presentations, and other external reporting deliverables
• Conduct research related to U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance to determine appropriate accounting treatments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field
• Active CPA required
• Big-4 experience required
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or public-company SEC reporting preferred
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
