CPA SEC Reporting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a remote SEC Reporting Manager, this full-time position will manage the preparation and review of SEC filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy in external financial reporting while collaborating with various stakeholders and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the preparation, review, and timely filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as other SEC filings
• Coordinate the report review cycle, resolving comments from auditors, legal counsel, and executive management
• Complete various aspects of the month-end close and financial reporting process, including ad-hoc projects for process improvements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and CPA or enrolled in the CPA program
• 6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public accounting (Big 4 or large regional)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for publicly traded companies
• Experience preparing or reviewing Forms 10-K and 10-Q with proven attention to detail
• Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and SEC reporting software (Workiva); ERP experience preferred
