CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close procedures and prepare accounting work papers and journal entries
• Monitor accounting transactions for compliance with US GAAP and analyze monthly financial statement fluctuations
• Assist in internal/external audits and identify process improvements within the accounting department

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience or public company experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and strong financial acumen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet reporting deadlines
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
