CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the allocation of purchase prices for newly acquired entities and determine fair values
• Read and interpret asset and equity purchase agreements for business combination recording
• Collaborate on hedge accounting documentation and prepare financial statement disclosures in accordance with GAAP

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in technical accounting or insurance industry
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 805 and ASC 606
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems strongly preferred
