CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Accountant responsible for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial information and prepare detailed reports to support management decision-making
• Maintain SOX-compliant documentation and assist with audit requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress toward certification preferred
• 5 years of financial reporting or insurance accounting experience
• Prior experience within property and casualty insurance preferred
• Experience with month-end/quarter-end close processes in a corporate environment required
