CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (Eastern Time Zone preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers
• Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy for accounting purposes
• Drive process improvements and automation within the Accounting Team, including participation in audits and compliance preparations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation (or in progress) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with prior public accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with enterprise software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Workday) preferred
