CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support financial close and reporting processes in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in a large public accounting firm or 5+ years in progressive accounting experience in industry
• Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
