CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Accountant in the Financial Close team, the candidate will manage the month-end and quarterly financial closing processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex monthly close responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements while liaising with external auditors
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable processes to support company growth

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in public accounting (audit) and private/in-house accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA license with strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in start-ups and/or financial services
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software
• Experience overseeing and managing accounting staff
