CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To ensure financial accuracy and operational excellence, the full-time remote CPA Senior Accountant will oversee complex accounting activities, manage the general ledger, and provide advanced financial analysis to support leadership decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve accuracy while partnering with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
• CPA Certification preferred
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
