CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning complex accounting areas, the full-time remote CPA Senior Accountant will focus on revenue reconciliation, grants recognition, and process improvements while mentoring junior staff and collaborating closely with the Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile donations from various payment platforms to ensure accurate general ledger uploads
• Prepare quarterly grants reconciliation to verify accurate recording of liabilities and fund allocations
• Assist with complex close processes and support audit and tax compliance by drafting financial statements and related documents

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of financial/accounting experience
• Licensed CPA
• Experience with US-based non-profit accounting, including fund accounting
• Expert Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting
• Familiarity with common accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Bill.com
