CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare technology company, the remote CPA Senior Accountant will manage the monthly close process, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and drive process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams during Eastern Time Zone business hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers during the monthly close process
• Conduct fluctuation and variance analysis to facilitate accurate monthly financial results
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the accounting function

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation (or working towards a CPA) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience; prior public accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large datasets and features like XLOOKUP and PivotTables
