CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance organization, the full-time Senior Accountant will manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, improve accounting operations, and drive automation while working remotely or from various locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Own key areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Manage and improve accounting processes across the general ledger, including revenue, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance accounting operations through technology and system improvements

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field
• Experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both
• Strong GAAP accounting fundamentals and understanding of financial statement impacts
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes through automation and technology
