CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time remote CPA Senior Accountant will manage the monthly close process, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis while collaborating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers during the monthly close process
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Assist with annual audits and tax compliance data preparation while documenting internal controls and current processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation (or working towards a CPA) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience, with prior public accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial analysis
• Experience with enterprise software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday preferred
