CPA Senior Accountant - Healthcare
Job Summary
Providing assistant controller-level support to healthcare clients, the full-time Senior Accountant - Healthcare will manage day-to-day financial reporting, assist with complex general ledgers, and prepare monthly reporting packages while working remotely from anywhere in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting accuracy and assist with complex general ledgers for assigned clients
- Prepare and review monthly reporting packages, including KPIs and metrics, and finalize month-end close
- Coordinate project tasks and maintain client procedure manuals to ensure efficient workflow and documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, focusing on financial reporting and general ledger management
- Experience with full cycle accounting in the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
