CPA Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing accounting and internal control activities to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial statement reporting and prepare insightful reports for leadership
• Lead research and interpretation of complex accounting topics and provide technical guidance on various accounting matters
• Develop and implement a robust internal control framework to minimize financial risks and ensure compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of management experience preferred
• C.P.A. required; MBA preferred
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts
