CPA Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote team of accounting professionals, the full-time CPA Senior Accounting Manager will ensure high-quality client delivery, coach Client Leads, and manage team effectiveness while maintaining firm standards across client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Client Leads on solution design, client management, and delivery approaches while addressing technical risks and inconsistencies
• Conduct performance reviews and career development conversations, fostering a confident and accountable team environment
• Balance workload and manage capacity across Client Leads to ensure consistent execution and quality of deliverables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification required
• 7-10 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in public accounting or outsourced accounting
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and experience navigating startup-specific accounting complexities
• Proven ability to manage a team and client portfolio simultaneously while maintaining quality
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with NetSuite or similar platforms preferred
