CPA Senior Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will own the close process, lead technical accounting, and build systems and controls in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Research and document technical accounting positions, communicating findings to executives and non-accountants
- Lead financial reporting, support external audits, and develop the internal controls framework as the company scales
Required qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 8 to 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth private and public company environments
- 3 or more years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Deep technical GAAP knowledge with experience in high-transaction-volume environments
