CPA Senior Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the corporate accounting and financial reporting functions, the full-time remote CPA Senior Director of Accounting will ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements, oversee M&A accounting integration, and drive process efficiencies through technology and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting, revenue accounting, technical accounting, and SEC reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Oversee M&A accounting diligence and post-close integration, collaborating with Corporate Development
• Manage SOX accounting controls and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and maintain a strong internal control environment

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of accounting experience, with 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
• Public company SEC reporting experience, including oversight of 10-K and 10-Q disclosures
• Strong US GAAP technical accounting expertise, with Big 4 experience preferred
• Experience with M&A accounting and SOX compliance programs
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA required
