CPA Senior Director of SEC Reporting

Job Summary

Leading the global financial reporting architecture, the full-time remote CPA Senior Director of SEC Reporting will manage the preparation and filing of financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide strategic advisory on complex accounting issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of external financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations
• Serve as the internal expert on complex accounting issues and evaluate the accounting impact of strategic transactions
• Oversee the global stock administration function and ensure compliance with equity financial reporting standards

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 12+ years of progressive financial accounting experience, including leadership in SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at a public company
• 6+ years of experience at a Big 4 or national public accounting firm is preferred
• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is required
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and PCAOB standards, with experience in complex revenue recognition and lease accounting
• Proven success in building and managing a robust SOX compliance program and financial reporting calendars
