CPA Senior Financial Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP
• Lead monthly trend analysis meetings and prepare supporting documentation for financial statements
• Research accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting assessments and memos

Required Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (or on path to certification)
• Minimum of 5 years of related accounting experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree
• 2-3 years of experience preparing GAAP financial statements and technical accounting memos
• BS/BA degree with an emphasis in Accounting and working knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and Workiva Wdesk is preferred
