CPA Senior Manager of SEC Reporting

Job Summary

Leading the SEC and financial reporting function, the remote Senior Manager of SEC Reporting will ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations while managing the preparation and filing of SEC reports, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and timely filing of SEC reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations
• Drive continuous improvement across the reporting function, streamlining processes and implementing best practices
• Research and assess new accounting standards and SEC requirements, providing technical accounting guidance as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role
• Deep experience in SEC reporting, including ownership of 10-Ks/10-Qs in a public company
• Strong foundation in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting best practices
• Experience with Workiva required; NetSuite experience preferred
