CPA Senior Manager Technical Accounting

Job Summary

As the Technical Accounting Senior Manager, the full-time position will serve as the subject-matter expert on complex accounting matters, conducting research under U.S. GAAP, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring accurate financial statements in a remote-eligible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research and document accounting impacts of significant transactions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and lead the implementation of significant policy changes
• Prepare technical accounting analyses across various areas, supporting the preparation of workpapers for financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant Big 4 public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with experience in technical accounting areas
• Public company experience with an understanding of SOX internal controls and the external audit process
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle preferred; advanced Excel skills
