CPA Senior Manager, Technical Accounting

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote CPA Senior Manager, Technical Accounting will manage the preparation of US GAAP financials, oversee month-end close activities, and lead technical accounting research and SEC reporting efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the financial reporting process, including preparation of US GAAP financial statements and disclosures
• Own month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accruals and reconciliations
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting and close processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or public accounting experience required
• 10-12+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience, including general ledger and month-end close ownership
• Proficient technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting
• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
• Demonstrated experience in automating or accelerating financial close processes using relevant tools
