CPA Senior Product Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing product team, the full-time remote CPA Senior Product Accounting Manager will manage the translation of complex accounting standards into software requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure accurate interpretations of accounting frameworks throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product engineers and designers to translate US GAAP, IFRS, and other frameworks into software requirements and test cases
• Research and document technical accounting guidance to address ambiguous accounting questions and support product development
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance and brief leadership to preemptively address potential issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Active CPA license required
• Four to six years of progressive experience in Big 4 audit/assurance or senior corporate accounting
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ability to translate standards for non-accounting audiences
• Proficiency with AI tools and large language models, including effective prompt writing
