CPA Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Working fully remotely, the Senior Staff Accountant will apply accounting principles to maintain control and accountability, prepare financial statements, and assist in training staff while ensuring timely processing of account reconciliations and analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain control of general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and detailed reports
• Prepare financial statements and analyses reflecting financial status and activities
• Assist in training or supervising staff accounting personnel to ensure compliance with accounting principles

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• CPA, CIA, or CMA designation preferred
• Minimum of three years of related experience
• Ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
