CPA Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled CPA Senior Staff Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage complex financial tasks, contribute to key accounting projects, and handle financial reporting and auditing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new accounting standards and conduct research on business transactions for appropriate accounting treatment
• Participate in the monthly financial statement closing process, including journal entries and detailed financial analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting expertise on projects and complete internal and external reporting duties

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• CPA designation required
• 6 years of progressive accounting experience or 4 years in public accounting
• Experience in designing and implementing internal controls and risk mitigation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills
