CPA Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the Senior Staff Accountant will apply accounting principles to maintain control of general ledger accounts, prepare financial statements, and assist in training staff accounting personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain control of various general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
• Prepare detailed financial statements and analyses reflecting financial status and activities
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of account reconciliations, billings, and disbursement requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• CPA, CIA, or CMA designation preferred
• Minimum of three years of related experience
• Ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
