CPA Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Tax Accountant (CPA).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage individual, corporate, and partnership tax preparation, including complex and multi-state returns
• Provide advanced tax planning, research, and strategic consulting to optimize clients' tax positions
• Review tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide technical guidance and mentorship

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or Taxation focus is a plus
• CPA license required
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in tax preparation and tax planning, preferably in Public Accounting
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation; International Tax exposure is a plus
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and tax software such as UltraTax (or similar)
