CPA Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Perform account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or other relevant certification is required
• Big 4 public accounting experience is required
• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles
