CPA Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Analyzing and reviewing financial statements, the full-time remote CPA Staff Accountant will ensure compliance with GAAP, assist with financial reporting audits, and perform advanced accounting functions such as journal entry preparation and general ledger maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and reviews financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Performs advanced accounting functions, including journal entries, invoice coding, and account reconciliation
• Assists with financial reporting audits and prepares supporting financial data as required

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Finance degree holders must have completed Intermediate Accounting I & II
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum three years of accounting experience or a Master's degree with at least one year of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
