CPA Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Staff Accountant will manage the accounts payable cycle, maintain strong vendor relationships, and collaborate on process improvements in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a strategic and supportive partner
• Own the day-to-day accounts payable cycle, including company credit card coding and month-end journal entries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or 1-3 years equivalent accounting experience, ideally including AP, GL, and account reconciliations
• Licensed CPA or studying for CPA Exam preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, sorting/filtering, basic pivot tables)
