CPA Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting financial close and reporting processes, the full-time salaried CPA Staff Accountant will assist with monthly close activities, prepare journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of financial data while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under the direction of senior accounting staff
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for review by senior team members
• Support variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts as directed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry
• Hands-on experience or coursework in account reconciliations and journal entries
• Basic working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
